Yeh, she's the real deal. When you can deliver like that live, that's what separates the real musicians from the studio creations. The only other person who has struck me as that strong and real in the pop/rock world in recent memory is Joan Osborne.

this has to be one of the best live performances i've listend to in a very long time she is truely an original.stuning vocals check out other songs by her you wont be disapointed.

I agree. I think they both do better in this setting, though. Just like Joan, it seems that both seem to do better when given free-reign (like Joan Osborne - "Early Recordings") to show their abilities. It sucks when some artists have to sing by the numbers of a producer/label - unlike these great videos at KCRW.

I couldn't agree more. I don't mean to be blasphemous, but she kind of reminds me of Joe Cocker, it looks as though her voice and gestures are one single thing you just can't take apart without ruining the performance to some degree. Looking at Sia moving to the sound of her amazing voice only improves the listening experience, I can't wait to see her live.
